The image below is part of the Laurie Richards Collection at Museum Victoria. The collection consists of thoussands of photos taken by Laurie Richards Studio during the 50's, 60's and 70's.According to the Museum's website the studio was a leading commercial photographic studio in Melbourne and the collection would be of great interest to anyone wanting to see some of the changes. The Museum itself describes this collection as "an invaluable record of Melbourne's commercial and industrial past and as such gives an insight into the social history of that period".
